By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Deposit Defender mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Deposit Defender is a mobile application designed to help users protect their rental deposits and manage rental agreements. The App provides features including:

• Smart reminders for payments and renewals

• Educational content related to rental agreements

3. Subscription Service

3.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Deposit Defender offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Free Trial: New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial period.
• Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
• Billing: You will be charged through your Apple App Store account.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings.

3.2 Pricing and Payment

• Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.3 Free Trial Terms

• Free trial periods are available to new subscribers only.
• You may cancel during the free trial period without charge.
• If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.
• Unused portions of free trial periods are forfeited upon subscription purchase.

3.4 Refunds

• Refund requests are subject to Apple's App Store refund policies.
• No refunds will be provided for unused portions of subscription periods.
• Contact Apple Support directly for refund requests.

4. User Accounts and Registration

4.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4.2 Account Security

• You are solely responsible for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized account access.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload or transmit harmful, threatening, or offensive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated systems to access the App.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 App Content

• All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Deposit Defender.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from App content.

6.2 User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload to the App.
• You grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the service.
• You represent that you have the right to upload and share your content.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the subscription in the past 12 months.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time.
• Subscription cancellations must be made through the Apple App Store.

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.

11.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
